Akta barnen. Om våld mot små barn

The main purpose of this Save the Children publication is to disseminate information on small children’s vulnerability to violations of their protection rights. It is difficult for infants and small children to come forward when they have been subjected to maltreatment since they are unable to communicate their distress verbally and entirely depend upon adults to meet their needs. It is therefore essential that people who work in child maltreatment have a good knowledge in this field. Communicating and sharing the most current knowledge in the area of child maltreatment with decision-makers at local and regional levels, could reduce the rate of victims of child maltreatment.
