This report presents findings of a study on National domestic resource mobilization and mapping of locally generated resources in Mchinji and Balaka LAs. The study was commissioned by MEJN through the Tikwanilitse ndi Kuteteza Ma ufulu A ana (TiKuMA) Project being funded by NORAD through Save the Children. It aimed to assess the trend and performance of national domestic resource mobilization and map locally generated resources in Mchinji and Balaka local authorities with particular focus on child rights. Findings from the study will help MEJN in advocating for improved domestic resource mobilization at both national and district level, improved local governance and economic development including identifying opportunities for improving locally generated revenue in a bid to increase investment in child-focused infrastructures and programs, and improved economic development and socio-economic justice.
