Save the Children Sweden
Save the Children Sweden has since the beginning of the 2000s conducted studies that reflect changes in children’s living conditions in Sweden. It is important to follow the statistics over time in order to gain an in-depth understanding of how societal development affects children’s welfare.
This report differs from Save the Children Sweden’s previous reports on child poverty in that we present a revised method of measurement, with the aim of better reflecting children’s actual living conditions. This year’s report shows that a total of 276,000 children are living in economic vulnerability in Sweden today, which is 100,000 more than previous calculations have shown.
