This report provides supplementary information on Colombia’s initial report on the Optional Protocol on Armed Conflict and the Optional Protocol on the Sale of Children. Child Helpline International recommends that Colombia expand access to the existing helpline (which does not operate 24 hours a day and can only be reached by children in some regions) and use the helpline as a tool to combat the sale of children and their involvement in armed conflict.
