2025 Sponsorship Annual Report: Locally Led Programming and Partnerships

The 2025 Sponsorship Annual Report highlights how Sponsorship programs across 19 countries are achieving Breakthroughs for children and advancing equality. But we cannot do this work without our strong partnerships and commitment to localisation.

By building on the expertise of partners, communities, and children themselves, programs strengthen local leadership and ensure that solutions are shaped and driven by those closest to the challenges children face. In 2025, 24% of Sponsorship funding was channelled through local partners, enabling solutions that are rooted in context, led by communities, and sustained over time.
