The 2025 Sponsorship Annual Report highlights progress toward one of Save the Children’s Breakthroughs: Achieving Safe Back to School and Learning. Across 16 Sponsorship offices, programs supported approximately 758,359 children and 187,400 adults to access education and strengthen learning outcomes. Through efforts to strengthen teaching practices, improve learning environments, and support early childhood development, children developed foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills. Key achievements include scaling foundational learning into government training packages for 6,100 educators in Vietnam; educating out of school children in Egypt, Mali and Myanmar; developing learning coalitions in the United States; and co-developing a national Inclusive Early Childhood Care and Development training package in Bhutan.
