At the time of writing, approximately 200 million children suffer from stunting or wasting worldwide. Worldwide hunger is estimated to be moderate, but it is evident that the COVID-19 pandemic has undermined food and nutrition security for many. In addition to this, data show that the world is not on track to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal to achieve zero hunger by 2030.
