Youth-Friendly Version of the Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children

This document is a youth-friendly version of the Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children and was developed by members of the I Matter International Youth Council from SOS Children’s Villages International. It intentionally avoids using the legal text of the Guidelines. Instead, it is an interpretation from members of the International Youth Council for use by children and youth who wish to understand the meaning and implications of the Guidelines.
