Youth Empowerment Bulgari Project

Northern Uganda has high rates in youth poverty, responding to 68% of the youth population. Many of these youth are extremely vulnerable; many were affected by the conflict with the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA): they have low levels of education, face high levels of poverty, and lead their family as the head of household.

Save the Children, together with jewellers Bulgari, have created the Youth Empowerment Bulgari Project to empower youth and alleviate them from poverty. The project provides literacy and numeracy education, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, life skills, and vocational skills to empower them to lead a brighter future.
