Un acercamiento al delito de la trata de personas en Nicaragua
This publication compiles the results of the geographic and social mapping carried out in Nicaragua by the International Save the Children Alliance, providing the facts and trends of child trafficking in the country.
The main victims are adolescents with or without children as well as poorly educated low-income women. National statistics show that more than 50 percent of the victims suffered from violence and commercial sexual exploitation within the family unit, before falling into the hands of human traffickers.
