Together we play and learn

Focussing on children affected by armed conflict, this is a guide to give parents, carers and teachers ideas for creative play and ways of supporting the development of young children. It is based on Save the Children’s experience in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and provides examples of simple activities, games and toys that use low-cost, locally available material. The guide is the result of field testing from 2002 to 2004, as part of the Save the Children Alliance Emergency Education Project.
