There is limited redress available to children affected by violence and for their families in seeking justice for these violations. Save the children supports partners and coalitions to raise awareness and advocates with key stakeholders to prevent violence against children. The process illustrated best practice of involving  different actors in different platforms (Child Rights Academia in Bangladesh, Child Rights Advocacy Coalition, and Youth Forum for Child Rights and National Children’s Task Force) to protest violence against children.

The Child Rights Advocacy Coalition involved 10 organizations to pressure the government to deliver child rights in line with the UNCRC. Save the Children supported 10 public universities through the Child Rights Academia programme to advocate for the end of violence against children. National Children’s Task Force is network for children working all over Bangladesh, monitoring the child rights situation and advocating for their rights.
