Separated Children and EU Asylum and Immigration Policy

The report aims to provide an accessible study of the policy changes affecting separated children which have occurred since 1999 at EU level, and of any further changes that can be anticipated within EU asylum and immigration policies. The study aims to inform a range of actors: NGOs and other stakeholders lobbying on behalf of separated children in the EU; EU representatives and officials; representatives of Member State Governments; media organisations; and other international agencies or fora with an interest (e.g. Council of Europe, UN Committee on the Rights of the Child).
