Seen and heard
This report presents the results of a research evaluation of the participation of children in the Southeast Asia and the Pacific region in events and processes connected to the United Nations General Assembly Special Session on Children in May 2002. The research covers the period from January 2000 to May 2003, and researchers have used several methods of data collection – with children, young people and adults – in addition to consulting published and unpublished documents, including earlier evaluations. The findings in this report reflect what both adults and children have told the research team and these reflections serve as valuable lessons.
