The Media and Me curriculum is a collection of eight sequential lessons geared towards children 11-17 years old. The curriculum focuses on teaching children about media literacy, information pathways, and rumor. Each lesson is composed of content and activities lasting approximately one hour (60-70 minutes). The lessons should be taught in order as each session builds upon learning from previous sessions. The most sensitive topics around misinformation and rumor are covered in later sessions after rapport and trust have been built within the group.

The Media and Me curriculum will be incorporated into the wider Education in Emergencies (EiE) NonFormal Education (NFE) curriculum that Save the Children International implements in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Rakhine State.
