It highlights some of SCS’s major trends that underlie the organisation’s operations in the oPt during this 50-year period:

o UNRWA – supporting refugees
o Charity work for women and children
1990:
o Enhanced focus on children’s rights
o Support Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social Affairs (juvenile justice, inclusive education)
2000
o Support National NGOs (civil society organizations)
o Child Protection
o Education
o Civil Society and Child Rights Programming.
On 1 May 2012, Save the Children Sweden transitions into one Save the Children in Palestine. As SCS integrated into the new structure of Save the Children International (SCI), it composed this history in order to provide a worthy account of the organisation’s work in the oPt and as a tribute to its partners and donors.
