Save the Children Sweden’s History in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (1963-2012)

A report spanning five decades of Save the Children Sweden’s (SCS) operations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt). It walks you through the history of the organisation in the oPt, its timeline of events and programmes throughout the years, and the many challenges faced.
It highlights some of SCS’s major trends that underlie the organisation’s operations in the oPt during this 50-year period:

On 1 May 2012, Save the Children Sweden transitions into one Save the Children in Palestine. As SCS integrated into the new structure of Save the Children International (SCI), it composed this history in order to provide a worthy account of the organisation’s work in the oPt and as a tribute to its partners and donors.
