This research article investigates decision making processes among nomadic pastoralists in North Eastern Kenya. The authors used a survey and open-ended interviews to identify who women contact when making reproductive and sexual health decisions, a woman’s “network”. The findings show that women’s husbands made reproductive and sexual health decisions and did not approve of modern family planning use and female neighbors and mothers provided important support.
