Remote Capacity Strengthening in Syria for Better Child Protection (RISE)

Working with local partners inside Syria ensures vulnerable people and children having their basic needs met. By collaborating with actors who have local knowledge and community acceptance, the implementation of response programs is strengthened. However, as many of the local organizations in Syria did not exist prior to the conflict, they lack experience, capacity and funding. The project 'Remote Capacity Strengthening in Syria' (RISE) was designed to mitigate these challenges and improve humanitarian response.

This brochure entails information on RISE's approach to partnership, funding, innovation, contextualization and sustainability of humanitarian response in Syria.
