The report “Remarques de l’OMCT/SOS-Torture concernant l’application de la Convention relative aux droits de l’enfant par l’Indonesie” was presented by the Organisation Mondiale Contre la Torture to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in 1994. The Indonesian legislation has gradually reformed towards a comprehensive recognition of the rights of the child in accordance with the spirits and principles of the CRC, although impediments are found at the legislation and practical application levels.
