Raising Understanding among Children and Young People on the Optional Protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography (OPSC)

The Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Violence against Children has launched the child friendly publication ‘Raising understanding among children and young people on the Optional Protocol to the Convention of the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography’. This child friendly version was developed with the support and advice of children and young people from different regions of the world. It aims to support wide dissemination of the Protocol, raise children’s awareness about their rights and enhance their confidence to speak up and seek support. The booklet also includes a range of learning activities and practice exercises about the OPSC.
