The Rainbow Garden: Growing colourful food to keep you healthy

This child-friendly book follows Mika and Christina as they search for the perfect Mother's day gift for their mother. The story teaches important lessons about nutrition and the importance of eating a colorful plate. The story is followed by suggestions for discussion and comprehension activities, classroom or club activities, and a brief of eight core messages that constitute the Children’s Participation in Learning and Action for Nutrition (PCAAN) programme.

The story The Rainbow Garden is for children aged 10–14 depending on their reading ability. They can also read it to younger children. Its focus is on creative thinking, problem solving and nutrition.
