This briefing, prepared by the Global Initiative to End all Corporal Punishment of Children in March of 2015, presents the progress and delay of prohibiting all corporal punishment of children.

Those countries who do not prohibit all or most forms of corporal punishment, countries which have not implemented recommendations from the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, and States which defend the use of corporal punishment are listed.
