Nutrition Critical: Why the UK must act now

The UK Government’s commitment to tackle malnutrition expired at the end of 2020. It is one of the most respected donors to nutrition and its investments have helped reached over 50 million people since 2015. The pandemic is expected to significantly worsen malnutrition around the world. A renewed commitment from the UK is vital to ensure it maintains its critical and unique role.

This report applies the findings of our Nutrition Critical report onto the work of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. It outlines a number of recommendations for the FCDO to adopt.
