Save the Children
Throughout her life and career, Save the Children’s founder, Eglantyne Jebb, followed one simple mission statement: Every generation of children offers mankind the possibility of rebuilding his ruin of a world.
This generation is yet to seize that possibility and looks set to bequeath intolerable levels of poverty, inequality, injustice, and conflict to the next. This report is aimed at the current generation of aid policy-makers in the United Kingdom and asks them to consider how UK aid could best deliver the kind of transformation and renewal Jebb talked of, and that children deserve.
This report sets out Save the Children’s vision for how UK aid can better deliver for children. It sets out the principles to which all UK aid should align that will help ensure our aid continues to have the biggest impact for children.
