This country factsheet provides a snapshot of the Multi-Country South Asia (MSA) Global Fund HIV Programme in Afghanistan, including program goals, key activities and results. The MSA programme contributed to the development and strengthening of civil societies and community-based organizations (CBOs) to reduce the vulnerability and impact of HIV on men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender (TG) communities in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
