Modernizing foreign assistance – Insights from the field:Tajikistan

The research contained in this report draws upon information that was gathered by Save the Children during a series of interviews and project visits conducted in Tajikistan in December 2008 by Carolyn Long, Ismoil Khujamkulov, and Bahriddin Shermatov. The research team gathered data from representatives of the United States Agency for International Development, other United States government agencies, international non-governmental organizations, representatives of the Government of Tajikistan, other donors, and the beneficiaries of U.S. foreign assistance.
