Mixed Migration Trends in Libya: Changing dynamics and protection challenges

This report is based on a study conducted by IMPACT Initiatives and Altai Consulting, on behalf of UNHCR, with the dual objective of tracking the evolution of mixed migration trends and routes to and within Libya and to map out refugee and migrant groups in Southern Libya, to determine their vulnerabilities and protection needs.

In addition to mapping out routes and developments in migration flows to and within Libya, the report highlights the implications for protection and service provision. It also provides recommendations for UNHCR and other international community organisations supporting refugees and migrants in Libya.
