Local action to tackle child poverty in Scotland

To accomplish the ambition of eradicating child poverty by 2020, as required by the Child Poverty Act 2010, the first national Child Poverty Strategy for Scotland requires action at the local level. This report presents the findings from a survey of chief executives, council leaders and officers with an interest or responsibility for tackling poverty within Scottish local authorities. It aims to document and analyse their thoughts on how child poverty is being tackled locally across Scotland.
