Key Messages for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience in Fiji: A guide for public education & awareness

This DRR guide for public education provides simple and accurate advice on what to do in case of various emergencies (hazards: drought, earthquake, floods, pandemic, tropical cyclone, wildfires, infestation, landslide & debris flow, tsunami, storm surge & king tides). These Key Action Messages for families can form the foundation for public awareness messaging, information, education and communication materials, and curriculum development for disaster risk reduction. These are developed for Fiji, but follow the global template of IFRC ‘Public awareness and public education for disaster risk reduction: key messages’ and are thus applicable for other countries as well.
