I’m Learning in Uganda applied Save the Children International’s (SCI) Quality Learning Environment (QLE) Framework to develop a programme that would enhance primary school learning environments and thereby improves school enrolment, retention, and children’s literacy, numeracy, and life skills. The overall objective of the project was to improve children’s learning outcomes and development through the four Guiding Principles of the QLE Framework, aimed to bolster supported schools adoption of a holistic perspective for establishing a quality learning environment.

This report describes the I’m Learning Pilot Project in Uganda from start to end, and explores implementation approach, results, and lessons learned of Save the Children Uganda’s efforts to establish a contextualized QLE programme model through the I’m Learning project.
