Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters, South Asia is facing a vicious cycle of cascading risks. The most vulnerable groups are at risk of falling back into poverty due to the economic downturn. This appeal describes the difficulties in South Asia, and the strategies used by UNICEF to respond to these.
