A Guide by SOS Children’s Villages on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation Methodologies for Working with Children and Youth.
The guide is based on the belief that children have the right to participate in the decisions that affect their lives, and that monitoring and evaluation is one vehicle for participation. The guide will support staff working in SOS Children’s Villages Family Strengthening and Family Based Care Programmes. It is designed to motivate co-workers to try new ideas and approaches that involve the target population in the process of monitoring and evaluation. It is intended that national and local partners adapt the templates and ideas proposed to their own specific contexts and needs.
