A guide to get involved in protecting the rights of children and how you can make your home, your neighborhood, place of work and everyday surroundings a safe early childhood environment. It describes how children, families, playschools, communities and other institutions can establish a real and long-lasting “culture of protection” by adopting effective and active measures to help prevent violent incidents and accidents involving young children (0-6 years). This resource guide is the product of a joint effort between the Municipality of Bogotá and Save the Children.
