Great Game and Activity Cards (Very Young Adolescents, Older Adolescents, and Married and/or Parenting Adolescents) – The Gender Roles, Equality and Transformations (GREAT) Project works to improve gender equity and reproductive health in Northern Uganda. GREAT uses radio drama, community mobilization, and small group discussions to promote dialogue and reflection among adolescents, with the goal of facilitating the formation of gender equitable norms and the adoption of attitudes and behaviors, which may positively influence health outcomes among boys and girls, aged 10 to 29. The GREAT toolkit is the centerpiece of the project and includes activity cards, fact cards, flipbooks, game instructions and question cards, and discussion guides for use with small groups, to accompany a year-long radio serial drama. This game contains one board and four sets of cards, one for each category: 1. Very young adolescents, 2. Older adolescents, 3. Newly married and parenting adolescents, and 4. Adults, each with four categories of questions to help people learn/discuss reproductive health, safety, equality, and being GREAT.
