Going home: Demobilising and reintegrating child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Going Home is an evaluation report documenting Save the Children’s programme to demobilise nearly 1,200 child soldiers in the North and South Kivu provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Children tell their own stories about how they were recruited, and the problems they face being reintegrated with their families and communities. The lessons learned are valuable to anyone working with demobilised child soldiers, particularly in situations of ongoing conflict.
