Global Prevalence of Past-year Violence Against Children: A Systematic Review and Minimum Estimates

This publication finds that evidence confirms associations between childhood violence and major causes of mortality in adulthood. These findings are intended to propel investment in the protection of children from violence and the urgent need to escalate global commitments to protecting children, including the United Nations’ call to end all violence against children.
