A global action plan for maternal, newborn and child survival

In September 2010 the world’s leaders meet in New York for the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Review Summit.2010 is an absolutely decisive year for the success or failure of the MDGs – the deadline to achieve them is just five years away. Current efforts are failing due to a lack of focus, lack of funding and lack of accountability, so Save the Children is calling for a global action plan to ensure all eight of the MDGs are achieved.
