Evaluation of the Integral Development with Children (DIN) Methodology – Bolivia, prepared by Save the Children Canada. Throughout the last 17 years the most relevant fortitudes of the DIN (Desarrollo Integral con la Niñez) have been knowledge building and awareness raising among children, youth and community stakeholders. Based on the principles of the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child, it seeks to translate needs into rights and rights into public policy, programs and projects that improve conditions of exclusion and poverty in children and adolescents. DIN has been used to work with children inside and outside schools. Teachers find that the manuals listed in this report are important tools that complement learning-teaching processes in their classrooms and, to children and youth, they are tools that empower them, help them create and consolidate networks to defend and promote their rights, and protect them against physical and sexual abuse and exploitation.
