This manual was developed as part of the Fatherhood Initiative Project being piloted in Nepal. This manual consists of various participatory activities to facilitate reflections among the fathers’ groups’ members on gender equality, violence, care-giving and parenting notions. It also offers support to boys and men on enhancing their confidence in their caregiving skills, explore issues around masculinity, violence and fatherhood, and promote communication between couples and children. Further, the project aims to create community of practice (boys, men or any male members of families) at community level on the issues of fatherhood, caregiving, positive parenting, ending violence against children, ending violence against women, ending social injustices, addressing domestic violence issues and achieving gender equality within the family.
