Efforts to Pave the Way for Enabling Legal Environment, Anti-Discriminatory Policies and Practices

This brief shares efforts and results from the Multi Country South Asia HIV (MSA) program in the area of legal and policy reforms focused on human rights and fundamental freedoms of men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender people (TG). MSA countries include: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. This document can be used by anyone who wishes to better understand the policy and legal environment in these countries regarding human rights and freedom, and those insterested in HIV, MSM and TG.
