Education: An essential component of a humanitarian response

Provides rationale for why education should be included during a humanitarian response. The explanation includes education as a key intervention, as a cross-cutting intervention, and the consequences when it is not included. Cluster Coordinators or Education Manager and Advisors could use this document when advocating for the inclusion of education programing during a humanitarian response. For additional information on the Education Cluster and its role in the Cluster system, see the Education Cluster Coordinator's Handbook.
