The objectives of the workshop were as follows: (i) To establish the human rights imperative to prohibit all corporal punishment of children including in the home; (ii) To increase knowledge about what law reform means and how to achieve it through advocacy; and (iii) To develop national strategies for law reform which can be communicated clearly and pursued following the workshop.
