This Report, jointly commissioned by the Uganda Human Rights Commission and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, is based on field research carried out in the Greater North of Uganda between 2007 and 2011.This report outlines the views and priorities of victims of serious violations of human rights law and international humanitarian law which resulted from the conflict between the Government of Uganda and the rebel Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). It details the serious violations that victims and victim-focused civil society organizations (CSOs) believe should trigger their right to remedy and reparation.
