Demystifying non-discrimination and gender for effective child rights programming

The Paper presents the right not be discriminated against and analyses the various international human rights instruments and the governments’ obligations respectively. It examines how children who are discriminated against are excluded and oppressed, and its long term impact on children’s development. It covers the two-day workshop held in Dhaka from 20–21 April 2003.
