Dealing With Child Abuse: User Manual

Developed by Save the Children India as a part of the ”Child Rights for Change” project, this manual will empower Child Protection Committees to deal with issues of child abuse in communities and to create a protective environment for children.

Lack of awareness is one of the key underlying factors of the widespread occurrence of child abuse. There is a great need to raise awareness amongst children, families, and society about child abuse, its impact, and protection mechanisms. A separate manual has been produced for the education of children on child abuse entitled: Learning to Protect Children from Abuse: A handbook for facilitators.
