Convention on the Rights of the Child 25 Years: 25 Stories of advances in children’s rights

On 20 November 1989, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Although considerable changes can be seen, only 42 countries have passed legislation against corporal punishment of children.
