The Children’s Resilience Programme – Facilitator Training

This is additional material designed to supplement the Child Resilience Resource kit, to help and aid psychosocial support in and out of schools. The resource kit aims to help children build strength and resilience so they can cope positively with difficult life situations. The material has special focus on the impact of armed conflicts, disasters, abuse and exploitation and living in a community with a high rate of HIV.

This is a collection of documents to aid in the training of programme facilitators. Handouts, a training template, worksheets, and even a programme evaluation tool are provided in this set of supplementary materials.

The full kit comprises: Facilitator Handbook I: Getting Started, Facilitator Handbook II: Workshop Tracks, a Programme Manager’s Handbook, and a booklet on understanding children’s wellbeing.
