Children in China: An Atlas of Social Indicators 2014 provides an overview of the situation of children in China, using charts based on key indicators of child survival, protection and development and highlighting relevant socio-economic information. It is the joint effort of the National Working Committee on Children and Women (NWCCW) under the State Council, the National Bureau of Statistics and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

The Atlas reflects China’s achievements for children, and highlights disparities among children from different regions and population groups. It is intended to be a detailed resource for policy makers, relevant government departments, child rights practitioners, researchers and the general public.
