The Centrality of Protection in Humanitarian Action: Statement by heads of agencies of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee

With this statement, the senior officials of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee undertake to give a central place to protection and the role of the coordinators in humanitarian action. This is part of measures to be adopted by the Committee to ensure more effective protection of populations in humanitarian crisis.
