This Case Study deliniates one of Save the Children’s specific objectives in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) , namely to strengthen the monitoring and reporting mechanism (MRM) of the local Community Based Organizations (CBOs’) to detect, refer and report on child right issues in better integrated and effective programmes where girls and boys can equally access protective mechanisms to address violation. The establishment and development of a country level MRM Working Group has come a long way in terms of putting the issue of children affected by armed conflict on the agenda of the humanitarian community in-country and increasing understanding of the key issues and concerns.
